Annual Rabbit Hunt – TBC

Our annual rabbit hunt is important as it provides us with bait for our stoat trapping programme.
Rabbit meat is salted down and used to bait traps that protect Kokako and other inhabitants of the Manawahe bush from stoat predation.
Rabbits may be gathered any time prior to the 30th and are to be skinned and gutted and if older than two days, please freeze them.
